Victoria Day Conference (May 16–17 @ Church in Montreal)

Saints from nearby churches can join the Eastern Canada Victoria Day Conference to be held May 16–17 at 3201 Hochelaga, Montreal, QC, H1W 1G7. Please pray for a joyful time of blending and receiving of the rich ministry for the building up of the Body of Christ.

Online offerings to the Church

In [Matthew chapter 6] verses 19 and 20 the King decrees that the kingdom people should not lay up for themselves treasures on earth, but treasures in heaven. To lay up treasures in heaven is to give material things to the poor (19:21) and to care for the needy saints (Acts 2:45; 4:34-35; 11:29; Rom. 15:26) and for the Lord’s servants (Phil. 4:16-17) … Verse 24 says, “No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will hold to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.” The word mammon is an Aramaic word signifying wealth, riches. Here mammon, standing in opposition to God, indicates that wealth or riches is the opponent of God.

Arrangements have been made to allow the saints to offer online through Electronic Funds Transfer.

Offerings can be designated into one of the following categories: “General” or “Work” or “Saints Care” or “Video” or “Books” or “Building” or “Next Generation”.

Also, the serving saints have noticed that some funds have been going into the church’s donation accounts but designated to named individuals. This type of donation through the church account is NOT permitted under government (CRA) regulations.

If the saints wish to do so, they can give the funds directly to the person, or to remain anonymous, they can place cash in a sealed envelope and hand it to the district brothers, who can relay it to the offering brothers for delivery.

 

Toronto FIFA World Cup 2026 (June 11 – July 3)

Toronto will be one of the host cities for the FIFA World Cup 2026 in the summer. The Lord has arranged this opportunity for saints in Eastern Canada to write the divine history in human history. We ALL can participate in this move mainly by Bible distribution and gospel outreach activities to reach the estimated 300,000 visitors plus the locals, who will watch these soccer games.

We have arranged for the following outreach periods for saints to go out in teams:
P1: June 11–13 (Thursday – Saturday)
P2: June 15–17 (Monday – Wednesday)
P3: June 18–20 (Thursday – Saturday)
P4: June 22–24 (Monday – Wednesday)
P5: June 25–27 (Thursday – Saturday)
P6: July 1–3 (Wednesday – Friday)

Out of Town saints that register must be available to participate for the entire duration of a period (3 days). GTA saints that register must be available to participate for at least one full day (9:00 AM-4:30 PM).

The deadline to sign up to participate is Saturday, Feb. 28th. District brothers are encouraged to provide practical help for saints to register using this form https://forms.gle/L92aAehCujMBCSiv6

 

Semi-annual Training

The Semi-annual will begin on Saturday, July 4th. For saints intending to join Toronto for the Video training, $180 CAD per person donation should be paid in full for registration to be complete. The registration deadline is April 26th. Each person can register as full time or part time (note that shared seats are intended for babysitting only). If saints intend to go to Anaheim, starting June 29th for the LIVE Semi-annual training, $290 CAD per person donation should be paid in full for registration to be complete. International Memorial Day Blending Conference (May 22–25 at Dallas, USA)

May the Lord advance His purpose in us during the International Memorial Day Blending Conference in Dallas, Texas, USA. It will be held at the Sheraton Dallas Hotel, Lone Star Ballroom, which is located at 400 Olive Street, Dallas, TX. Messages will be given in English, with available translation into Chinese, Korean, Spanish, and Portuguese. U.K. Building Project

A meeting and training facility is under construction in London, United Kingdom to accommodate the needs of the Full-time Training in London (FTTL), blending of larger groups of saints in London and the U.K., and the packing, shipping, and distribution of the New Testament Recovery Version throughout Europe. May this facility, with a potential seating capacity of 900, contribute to the further spread of His testimony in the U.K. and the whole European continent.

An estimated 10 million US dollars more will be needed to complete the entire project and be ready for use by Fall 2028. Please bring this fellowship and need to the Lord. Offerings can be made to Lord’s Move to Europe at lme.org/offerings.html

 

Ministry reading

We thank the Lord that we have access to the Bible, and also the interpreted word that we may comprehend the word of God and also apply it in our Christian living. We encourage the saints to read the reference books mentioned during the conferences that covered each subject. Please refer to the books mentioned in the BookRoom announcements section.

 

Shuttle Service

The local church in Toronto would like to resume our shuttle service from the corner of Lawrence Ave. & Carnforth Rd. to the meeting hall. The shuttle phone number is 437-262-9119. Saints who would like to avail of the shuttle service, please call or send an SMS text with an approximate arrival time to the corner so that serving saints can arrange pick up.

 

Morning pursuit (Tuesday and Wednesday) 

All saints are welcome to join Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9 to 10:15 AM. The direction for each session is detailed below.

• Tuesdays: Truth Pursuit. A time to present and share our learnings and enjoyments from the Life-Study messages for the week
• Wednesdays: Watchman Prayer. Corporate Prayer for the Lord’s move in Europe, Canada and USA, next generation, etc., accompanied with ministry reading.
